WHAT WE WANT

I prefer galleries or story sites. There's no minimum or maximum for the number of thumbs that has to be on a gallery, but we have to make a selection. We get more submissions than we can post, so we pick the best galleries. Those are usually the ones that have an average or better number of thumbs. Today's average is easily found by going through the links. I admit that the average is a personal taste. I might like what other people don't like or vice versa, but the name still is The Hun's yellow pages ;-).

I do not demand reciprocals on your site. Neither do I forbid you to put reciprocals up to other sites. But... sites with no reciprocals do look better than sites with reciprocals, so chances of getting your site above average improve if you keep your galleries clean. I know a lot of link sites demand reciprocals. I think that's lame. Without people submitting I would have nothing to link to, so I don't think it's fair that I use your bandwidth and demand a reciprocal as well. I'd rather see better content than links to my site. Some sites I get do have reciprocal Christmas trees on them. They pull down the quality of the site big time. I'm not telling anybody what they should or shouldn't put on their site, but I link what I like, and I'm letting you know what I like here.

I get a lot of sites sent to me with links to everyone but me... they obviously won't get listed. The reason I don't require a link back is 'cause I think that other sites should not demand what to put on yours... Read this page to read the "old" message on reciprocals... but anyway, if you do send me a site ruined with other reciprocals, it's a slap in the face not to see mine there too... Note though that I'd rather link to good galleries. Replace the thumbs with some good content and an extra banner maybe to make some money of your site, instead of saying to your visitors: "welcome to my site, now bugger off somewhere else"

WHAT WE DON'T WANT

We don't want entry sites, warning pages, disclaimers, stuff like that. You don't have to warn people that they're going to see porn. Trust me, they kind of expect that when they come from the Yellow Pages. Sites with consoles, exit traffic or a huge number of banners are not even reviewed. They will never appear on the pages. Sites with blind links are put on the blacklist and not put on the yellow pages. Sites that suddenly have a console, exit traffic redirect, blind links, redirects or just banners after I put the link up will be removed and put on the blacklist. We have a bot checking for this and the visitors of the Yellow Pages are also on the watch. Usually cheating sites are reported by them. I then will remove the link in question and the domain will end up on the blacklist.

I can't use the same URL twice. There's basically no limit to the number of submissions you can send, though I want to give as many people as possible a shot at some traffic. The more you submit the smaller the chance is you'll get on. Unless the stuff you sent is way above the average. I don't want to set any minimums or maximums. I know people are going to do their best to send me the least amount of thumbs as many times as possible. I'll let you decide here, but don't overdo things. Please don't submit more than every 3-4 days or so.

An extra note on blind links. If you have a link to "gallery 2" or "next" people should go to "gallery 2" or "next", not to a site with exit-traffic redirects and junk like that. I want to link sites that at least play it honest. Also people that put a link that says "back" often link that to their main page... but if people are coming from the Yellow Pages "back" should take 'em back... not to your main page.
